Kassem Ayman Omar

With a strong academic background in biology,  chemistry, and education from the University of Calgary, Kassem brings a unique blend of analytical thinking and heartfelt service to his Islamic studies.

Currently in his third year at Ma’had Abi Ayoub  al-Ansari in Istanbul, Turkey, he has completed two years of intensive  training in key Islamic sciences including Fiqh, Aqeedah, Tafsir, Hadith,  Arabic grammar, logic, and more. His commitment to seeking knowledge is both deep and deliberate, driven by the realization that the most important part  of his life, his faith, needed more than just belief, it needed  understanding.

His goal is not simply academic mastery, but to be a  bridge between the classical tradition and the everyday Muslim. He aspires to complete his Islamic studies, specialize further in Fiqh and Balagha, and return to Calgary to revive hearts and minds. Through khutbas, youth events, and teaching, he wants to help build a community rooted in sound belief, correct practice, and spiritual purification, tied directly to the legacy of the Prophet ﷺ and the Scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah.

His journey isn’t just about gaining knowledge, it’s  about living it and guiding others back to Allah with sincerity and depth.
